Who We Are | Our Beginning
In 1914, Storr began as an office products company in Raleigh, NC. A family-owned enterprise, Storr provided furniture, fixtures, equipment and consumables to Raleigh businesses including commercial operations, utilities, education, government, and healthcare. Storr remained a family-owned enterprise until it was sold and became a Steelcase office furniture dealership. As Storr grew, it became the leading provider to businesses in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area, delivering knowledge, products and services to some of the world’s largest corporations.
One of the aspects of Storr which has made it so successful is that our relationships with our clients. We expanded our services to meet the growing and evolving needs of our clients. Because of our clients’ needs for complete records management services at competitive cost, Storr began storing records for clients more than 20 years ago. And because Storr operates each aspect of its business with a continuous quality improvement approach, Storr’s records management division grew from simple box storage to become the full-featured records management service provider it is today.
